The Lighthouse’s Cini Shaw Named Caron Treatment Centers Addiction Professional of the Year
We are honored to announce that Cini Shaw, Chief Recovery Officer for Lighthouse Recovery Services, has been named Addiction Professional of the Year by preeminent addiction treatment provider Caron Treatment Centers. The Caron New York Community Service Awards recognize individuals, organizations and institutions that have made an outstanding contribution in the ongoing battle against alcohol and drug addiction.
Cini joined the Lighthouse in 2019, and her model of leadership with love and hope continues to have a profound impact on our community. In her role of Chief Recovery Officer, Cini supervises Lighthouse residential directors and recovery coaches, and facilitates workshops for staff, clients and families. From the tremendous care Cini devotes to supervision and client relationships to the endless generosity with which she shares her wealth of knowledge and experience, Cini is a beacon in our community. Her light, devotion and passion for wellness make those around her—from clients to colleagues—thrive in their personal journeys.
The Lighthouse Sober Living Recovery 365 supports lifetime recovery for women and men, facilitating the creation of individualized goal-setting strategies to motivate and sustain recovery through a combination of skill education, relapse prevention and clinical case management. Founded in 2016, The Lighthouse is comprised of recovery coaching services and sober living residences for professionals and high net worth women and men. Clients seek the safety, support and confidentiality that The Lighthouse provides, which allows them to focus on their early recovery from substance use disorder, the rebuilding of relationships and their re-entry into demanding careers—all alongside a vibrant, like-minded fellowship.
