The Lighthouse Welcomes New Board Member Hugh Carey
The Lighthouse is pleased to announce the appointment of Hugh Carey to its board of directors. With extensive experience leading and advising companies across the healthcare industry, Hugh brings valuable experiential counsel to The Lighthouse Board that contributes to the objective of setting the standard in premier recovery services.

Hugh is Chief Executive Officer of ProSmile Management, LLC, where he specializes in driving performance and growth initiatives focused evolving the company into a premier dental support organization. Previously, Hugh was in Alvarez & Marsal’s Healthcare Industry group, serving healthcare organizations in C-Suite and advisory roles. He was also acting CFO of a major behavioral health provider, as well as financial advisor to a Northeast and mid-Atlantic platform ranging from 100+ to 30 offices.
Hugh was appointed by Governor Andrew Cuomo and confirmed by the New York State Senate in June 2014 as a member of the board of directors of the Jacob K. Javits Operating Corporation, where he is currently the Vice-Chairman and sits on the Audit and Finance Committees and Chair of Compensation Committee.
Hugh also serves on board of directors of Catholic Guardian Services, a non-profit organization offering an array of services for underserved families and individuals with special needs.
