PHILIPPA DOYLE
Philippa joined the Lighthouse team as a Recovery Coach in September 2023. She began her personal recovery journey more than four years ago, and became a recovery coach to share her experiences and help others, especially women, who feel as if they don’t have a voice due to the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health. Philippa believes in multiple pathways to recovery and meeting a person where they are in their journey.
Philippa received her BA from Indiana University and worked as a financial retail planner for 10 years in New York City. In 2023, she was a clinical intern at Mountainside Recovery Center in Wilton, Connecticut, supporting individual clients diagnosed with substance use disorders, as well as leading IOP and OP psychoeducation and process groups. Philippa will receive her master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University’s School of Social Service in May 2024.
Philippa achieved designation as a Recovery Coach Professional from the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery in 2023. Philippa was born in England, lived in the Netherlands, Michigan, New York City and now New Canaan. She loves running, hiking with her dog and spending time with her family.
