Peter Krieger
Peter received his Recovery Coach Professional Designation from the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) in October 2023 and joined The Lighthouse team in June of that year.
Peter received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his Master of Business Administration from Columbia University. He spent his career in senior management roles for privately backed companies in various industries. After leaving his most recent position, he decided to dedicate the next phase of his career to working in the recovery field.
He has four decades of continuous recovery from drug and alcohol addiction and remains very active in Alcoholics Anonymous and its twelve step recovery model. He is passionate about sharing his lived experiences with others in need and is embracing other recovery pathways. He understands that the best path for any person in early recovery is the one that works best for them. Peter enjoys applying active listening skills and open-mindedness to help his clients find the path that facilitates their journey to recovery and fulfilment.
Peter is active in various recovery organizations and serves on the Board of Advisors of Shatterproof, a national organization dedicated to addiction recovery and awareness, and to promoting pathways that support people and their families in dealing with substance use disorders.
Peter and his wife live in Westport and have two grown children. He enjoys golf, pickleball, skiing and travelling.
