TRISH FLORENCE

Trish has been with The Lighthouse since the women’s residence opened in 2020. She began as a residential manager and is currently a CCAR-trained recovery coach as well as the women’s residential program Director. Originally from Texas, Trish moved to Connecticut in 2018 and has been an active member of the Fairfield County recovery community for the last several years.

Trish received her BA from Whittier College. She taught elementary school and led a successful catering company prior to joining The Lighthouse.

Trish’s own recovery journey, connection to the community and personal experience in residential living have helped her become an insightful and compassionate resource for clients.

She believes there are many pathways to achieving long-term recovery and that bringing love, laughter and hope can make everything possible.
