COURTNEY POMRINK

Courtney has been with The Lighthouse since 2023 and currently works as a Recovery Coach and House Manager at the women’s residence.

Courtney received a degree in psychology from Fairfield University and holds a dual Master’s Degree in Childhood and Special Education from Long Island University. She is working towards an additional Master’s degree in Social Work at New York University. Courtney enjoyed working as a teacher before refocusing on her young children and service efforts.

Courtney has been active in the recovery field, both personally and professionally, for the past 15 years. She strongly believes in the power of connection, the importance of community, and the ability of every human being to change. Her lived recovery experience has instilled a passion for helping others on their journey to wellness through empathy, openness, and a spirit of non-judgment.

Courtney was born in Syracuse and raised on the North Shore of Long Island, but she has resided in New Canaan, CT, with her husband and three children for the past 15 years.
