Joan Cunningham

After being invited to speak at a Women’s Residence meeting in August 2024, she walked through the doors of the Lighthouse and immediately knew it was a very special place for recovery. She joined the Lighthouse later that year as a Residential Manager, where she is honored to support women on their recovery journeys.

Joan is working towards her CCAR Recovery Coach certification and is actively involved in the Fairfield County recovery community. She is passionate about sharing her personal journey to support women in their recovery.

After a career in finance in New York City, she retired to raise her family. She has been married to her husband, Jack, for 36 years and is the proud mother of four adult children.
